Youth Section
At the time when young people are mainly employed on a fixed-term basis or are simply surrendered to patterns of the labour market, and their rights are as often as not neglected, their youth is not always an advantage. Realizing the specific quality of the needs and forms of employing young workers, the UATUC decided to gather, in an equally specific way, young workers and give them insight into everything that awaits them at the labour market, as well as how to fight for their own rights. The Youth Section organizes annual education and training courses for the trade union work, public appearances, i.e. active influence on the events in the surrounding.

Coordination for the Occupational Safety and Health
The UATUC regards the issues of occupational safety and health in the context of fundamental workers’ rights – rights to safety and health at the workplace. Thus the basic task of the Coordination for the Occupational Safety and Health is to indicate the danger with which workers are faced on everyday basis, and who very often get seriously injured, through the work of OSH representatives, emphasizing the importance of their work within companies and influencing on the development of the legislative framework that would enable better basis for the occupational safety and health.
