Zagreb, 2 December 2009 – Members of the UATUC Women’s Section distributed today in front of the building of the Croatian Parliament “women’s thank you notes” to MPs who will vote FOR the final proposal of the Labour Code. As it is stated in the “thank you note” the new Labour Code is an act killing Croatian families and reducing rights of women.

- Vote according to your conscience today. You decide today about the continuation of discrimination of the most part of newly employed women at the labour market, especially young women. You decide shall those with fixed-term employment contracts have the right to children and family, it is stated in the note.
