Zagreb, 13 January 2010 – The new-elected President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipović answered a journalist’s question – You announced the commitment for the protection of workers’ rights. What concrete steps are you planning to take? – with the following:

- Our problem is that we have laws which regulate workers’ rights relatively well but they are not implemented. One of my proposals will be the establishment of specialized courts for protecting workers’ rights.

The establishment of labour courts is one of the main demands of the UATUC which was not answered by the authorities.
