The Occupational Health and Safety Coordinating Committee

The Occupational Health and Safety Coordinating Committee gathers together health and safety representatives from various trade unions affiliated to the UATUC in order to swap information and prepare joint activities.

Occupational health and safety issues, including the right to health and safety in the workplace, are a fundamental part of workers’ rights.
The main tasks of this Committee are to promote the importance of the work of health and safety representatives and to influence the establishment of a better legislative framework for occupational health and safety.
Through its activities, it points out the dangers workers face every day, thereby encouraging awareness among trade union members and the general public about the importance of implementing appropriate occupational health and safety measures.
